SHARKS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We would like to offer you the opportunity to become a valuable sponsor of the Sharks Inline Hockey Club. We are a club consisting of 30+ Members spread across four different age brackets (cubs, colts, juniors and seniors) with teams competing in both the British Rink Hockey Association (BRHA) and GB Inline leagues.

Our club was founded in 1996 and although the squad has seen a range of personnel changes over the years, much of the original management team still remain in place. Our management undertakes the vital roles of not only promoting the Sharks within the local community but also bringing on and encouraging the younger members of the club. It is this “grass routes” ethos which gives us a familial atmosphere and enables players of all abilities to develop to their maximum potential.

It is in part as a result of this environment that we are proud to report our Senior Team has recently gained promotion into the Premier Division of the Inline GB league which is based out of the Lord Roberts Centre, Bisley, UK.

Running a club such as the Sharks incurs heavy costs each year during the regular playing season. These include training equipment (such as goal nets and pucks), insurance, training facility fees and league registration as well as affiliation costs for the club.

In return for your sponsorship, we would offer a range of advertising opportunities for your organisation. These would include the option to become an integral part of our club name, as well as advertising space on our web site and the chance to have your company name and / or logo printed on our team kit. We could also discuss the possibility of having banners promoting your organisation displayed at our home venue in Christchurch.

Future plans for the Sharks include ongoing development of our younger players and to continue competing at league level. We also intend to participate in a variety of select national and international tournaments, to help the players develop as a squad and gain further experience, an invaluable asset to all inline hockey teams.

Inline hockey players (much like ice hockey players) need to have high levels of discipline, dedication and commitment to achieve maximum potential and as a group we feel we are proud to have these overriding principals as the fundamental basis of our club.
